In our R&D strategy we include research projects related to recycling plastic products.
Cadel has carried out several research projects financed by both public funds and private companies.
Its experience in the development of de-inking technology among other plastic waste valorization techniques, such as delamination, decontamination, coating removal, etc., places the company in a preferential position to face new challenges.
For the perfect development of the project, Cadel has both laboratory and pilot scale equipment that allows it to carry out all the steps of the process developed on a pre-industrial scale.
The company has instruments and laboratory equipment typical of the plastics industry, which are essential to study the quality and characteristics of the plastics produced and to maintain control of the pilot plant.
In addition, CADEL’s laboratory has equipment to control the quality of the plastic in terms of composition and toxicity. The clearest example of CADEL’s laboratory equipment is the gas chromatograph coupled to a mass spectrometer, which analyzes the presence of certain contaminants.
It should not be forgotten that CADEL is always committed to the environment, so all its solutions are associated with a process water treatment system, so it also has both plant and characterization equipment for this process stream.
